Caroline is a partner at Pierce and Maldonado PC. Caroline provides a variety of accounting, tax, and consulting services to individuals and small businesses. Her areas of expertise include individual and business tax planning and optimization. Caroline has assisted many families with college saving planning and filing of Financial Aid forms. She also provides services ranging from accounting for partnerships and S and C corporations to estate and trust planning, compliance, and administration. Caroline assists many local not for profits in their required filings as well. She has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various branches of state and government taxing authorities. She has also provided consulting services to companies to ensure compliance with with other goverment standards. Her business client base spans the consulting, construction, design, retail and medical industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Caroline was a Technical Manager at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She started her career at Price Waterhouse in the Audit and Assurance Services Department.
Caroline has served on various local Boards of Directors in the Treasuer role and is currently serving on the Investment Committee of the Summit Educational Foundation.
Caroline graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University with a Bachelor of Science and holds her Certified Public Accountant license in the state of New Jersey. She continues her education with yearly continuing professional education seminars and courses. She is also a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
